What you can do with ZetaChain?
ZetaChain utilizes a Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchain based on Cosmos SDK, which seamlessly connects with various external blockchains and layers, such as Ethereum, BSC, Solana, Avalanche, Terra, Bitcoin, Polygon, Optimism, and Arbitrum. This decentralized approach ensures transparency, efficiency, and eliminates single points of failure or the need for trust or permission.
With ZetaChain, developers can easily create odApps (omnichain decentralized applications) with the same simplicity as developing dApps for a single network like Ethereum or Polygon. They can also take advantage of composability across multiple networks.
ZetaChain offers two methods for users and developers to utilize its cross-chain capabilities. Firstly, it provides EVM compatible smart contracts, allowing developers to customize their existing Ethereum dApps to function seamlessly across all connected networks, without the need to learn a new programming language. Additionally, ZetaChain includes decentralized bridges that facilitate the smooth transfer of assets and data between all connected chains.
Secondly, ZetaChain serves as a programmable public computer that directly interacts with and updates states on all connected networks. While the application logic primarily resides on ZetaChain, the states primarily remain on external chains.
The possibilities of what can be built with ZetaChain are limitless. Developers can create cross-chain DEXes using native tokens, establish decentralized and fault-tolerant bridges, develop omnichain smart contracts capable of monitoring and executing events on all connected chains, build cross-chain lending and yield protocols, and create omnichain NFT apps.

Testing the platform
Firstly, it’s recommended to join their Discord community as it will be useful for future inquiries and interacting with the project and its supporters.
The team has created a user-friendly testnet that involves a straightforward process. Simply log in to the platform every day and perform one transaction to earn 1000 ZePe tokens. Additionally, for each friend you invite to the testnet, you’ll receive 5000 points, and for every transaction made by your referred friends, you’ll earn 250 points.

Please note that currently, the faucet is available, and although the test tokens may not be visible in our wallets, there is no need to worry. We can simply visit the faucet and request test ETH. Afterwards, we can exchange these ethers for Zeta tokens. It’s important to remember that only one transaction will be counted per day. So, let’s proceed with requesting test tokens!
